At a recent press conference, Van Halen announced a reunion tour with their original vocalist David Lee Roth. The band plans to reunite for a North American tour followed by a new record. Their reunion features a 25 date tour to start Mid September through mid December meaning this 25 date tour will in fact take about 100 days.. Apparently they elected to use horse and buggy on this tour, trying to “kick it old skewl”.
Now, to be honest I think its pretty rad that Van Halen is doing a reunion, I really have no issues with this. However, with yet another reunion tour announced to accompany Ratt, The Police, and a new Winger record, I feel legally obligated to post my top choices for bands to do a reunion tour.

Bow Wow Wow tour opened by Lil’ Bow Wow
Note: The dude doesn’t want to be called Lil’ anymore.. my B
Come on, this would be freakin’ sweet. Not because I particular care in any way, shape or form about Bow Wow Wow and/or Mr. Lil’, but like i gotta give props to any band who can pull off the kind of haircuts Bow Wow Wow sports.

New Kids on the Block
This honestly would be one of the most fun shows to go to, today. Now, I have never seen any aged photos of these young sexual icons, but i just really would like to know if these guys could pull it off. The thing is, I think a reunion tour for them would not in the least surprise me.

Man Without Hats
Only because I really, really want them to find their hats.

The Black Michael Jackson
Lets face it, Michael Jackson used to be amazing. He may not be your cup of tea (and to be honest the style isn’t mine either) but this would be an awesome show to go to. Michael could really rock before he fell in love with Macaulay Culkin. But can you really blame him? Home Alone was a bad ass movie.

Tupac
Lets face it, if Tupac turned out to not really be dead, the cultural significance of this would be overwhelming. I have no idea what really would happen, but it probably would be dangerous. It also probably would cement Tupac as the most powerful non-political leader in the free world. I never was any kind of huge Tupac fan, but if he ever were to return, it would probably end up being one of the most important moments in our century.
