Hot Rod Circuit

Hot Rod Circuit is one of those bands that I have been passionate about since I was young. I remember seeing them with Dashboard Confessional years ago at an outdoors show in Phoenix, AZ. Casey (guitarist) was jumping around like a Mexican jumping bean and the entire band was wearing (what seemed like) bright orange jail outfits… Perhaps they were sanitary uniforms, either way they were completely insane.

Their new record The Underground Is a Dying Breed is amazing. I have not stopped listening to the record since I have got it, it still remains the highest played record on my itunes. I particularly like standout tracks “Stateside”, “Battleship” and “US Royalty” but the entire rest of the record is supported with solid country-style rock music. This record is more then worth picking up and I highly recommend you do so.

Check it out when you get a free minute, these dudes still know how to rock.

Hell yeah. I’ve been listening to HRC for a long time and Underground… is a great, solid record. The pedal steel is awesome throughout the record and the tour for this record was awesome with the forecast and limbeck! hell yeah!
