The buzz surrounding Scary Kids Scaring Kids new self titled album is huge. Everywhere I turn I seem to see the “face”. With the new video impacting TV and the band gaining a lot of traction on specialty radio I wouldn’t be surprised to see some big numbers in the future for this band.

The most interesting thing I noticed was in its second week of sales the band only had a minimal drop of just over 10%, extremely lower than normal. The bands sales even INCREASED on itunes 200 more units. I am very interested to see the lasting strength of the record, placing #80 on the billboard last week and #86 this week, the band is showing a lot of strength. Compare this to Cartel’s 30k debut following to 10k the next week, it shows the significant difference in strength on these records.
