“Detox” Dr. Dres Last Album
According to Billboard, Detox will be Dre’s last record. To be honest I am not some huge hip hop fan but I have a lot of respect for a handful of artists and Dre is one of them. A successful businessman, producer and musician; you have got to admire him. Now I don’t really believe that this will be his last record, I am sure he will come back in five or so years , but I think this is a very smart marketing move. He needs to take prolonged period of time off to keep the “Dre Stock” high. To many albums can over saturate the public making a lifelong popular artist irrelevant.

Amazon launches Mp3 Music Store
More hype is surrounding this than the launch of any other digital music store since Apple. Many people think that with the cheaper prices, no drm and being amazon that this could really compete with Itunes. I am not 100% sold on it yet as I feel like I’ve “heard it all before” (emusic, zune, every new digital media company that ever stars and pitches me). With that said, I will look far more into their store and get back to you on my real opinion. I can’t make a judgment till I actively try it out.

Britney Spears Charged with 2 Misdemeanors
Now, to be honestly I am completely over Britney. I don’t think she has earned the time of day we all give her in the past few years. But with that said, I do think she is one of only a few interesting celebrities out there. I would love to pick her brain.
