By far one of the best shows I’ve been to in 07. Thrice at the Wiltern opening for Brand New. I’ll admit this blog will be slightly biased because Thrice and Dustin Kensrue has been on my “favorite bands of all time - id drop my panties for them” list - but seriously give their new record a spin. It’s worth it. They’ve put out a four disc EP. One for each of the four elements. Fire and Water came out this Fall. Earth and Wind in the spring. Fire walks on the lines of metal, whereas Water runs on the other side of the spectrum. Ambient - Epic - I like.
