Bedouin Soundclash

Everyone here at RK works in the music/digital realm in one way or another. We help develop artists, go to their shows …..but it’s very rare that we randomly go to a show and become entrenched in a bands performance we’ve never heard of before. I’m just speaking for me - but this has only happened to me a handful of times in the last five years. Well tada - last Wed. was my lucky day. I went to the Knitting Factory in Hollywood to meet up with the venue for a business run - but ended up watching the Bedouin Soundclash’s sold out show. There’s nothing about their music that blows your mind, no deep lyrics, no crazy live performance - but there’s something so amazing simple, fun and uplifting about the band that keeps you staying for the next song, and the next, and the next…….

Bedouin’s = a little bit of regea, a little bit of funk, a touch of pop, and an amazingly good looking singer. All of which add up to a sold out show of girls smashed to the front of the stage, swinging their hair likes is 1990 - and boys chillin on the sides, enjoying their sublime like influence. To say the least - I’m pretty stoked on the band right now - they’re on tour - go check them out if you can. Unless you’re a metal head - you won’t be disappointed.
